Nokia Lumia 1520 appears at the FCC, possibly headed to AT&T

Not long ago, the Nokia Lumia 1520 for Verizon was spotted at the FCC, and now, we have come across what looks like a couple of variants of that same smartphone, but tailored for use on another carrier. They are listed under the model names RM-938 and RM-940. What's the difference between these Nokia Lumia 1520 variants, you ask? Well, according to the FCC filing, the latter comes with built-in wireless charging capabilities, while the former needs a separate case in order to charge wirelessly, hence the metal pins on its back. Furthermore, the LTE frequencies supported by these Nokia Lumia 1520 models include bands 4 and 17, making them potential candidates for the AT&T network.

Of course, the evidence found at the FCC doesn't guarantee that the Nokia Lumia 1520 is indeed coming to AT&T, but it surely increases the chances of that happening in time for the holiday season.
