Fortnite for Android may not be available for download in the Google Play Store
The game has proven to be a big hit on the iOS platform and recent reports claim that within the first 10 days of the release of Season 5, the game nets around $2 million per day. Total mobile revenue has reached a whopping $150 million since the game launched on iOS on March 15th.
Naturally, with such huge revenues, Epic Games has weighed the risk of lesser popularity against the 30% cut that comes with being on the Google Play Store.
What is the source for this information, though, and is it reliable? XDA Developers has uncovered lines of code in the source code of the Fortnite Mobile page that indicate clearly how Epic Games instructs users about the sideload.

Furthermore, user thebros on Reddit has gotten access to early images that show those instructions and all of that clearly points to a launch outside of Google Play:
Are you looking forward to the Android version of Fortnite? And do you care about it not being able on the Play Store?
