Canadian carrier Rogers has a special promotion. On the heels of its introduction of a U.S. roaming plan that offers 50MB of data a day for $7.99, Rogers will give away a free 1 week U.S. roaming pass with 350MB of data to any customer that purchases a new Samsung handset on a 2 or 3 year contract. The pass kicks in after you use 1KB of roaming data in the states. The mobile operator says that 50MB a day is twice the average that its customers use in the U.S.If you do buy a Samsung handset from Rogers, you need to do so before July 31st to be eligible to receive the free roaming pass.
